Gran Passione Rosso (Off-dry Red)

Gran Passione has an intense purple color. It is full-bodied and rich with dark fruit flavors of blackberry and black cherry balanced by a solid structure due to the elevated alcohol, acidity, and soft tannins.
The Gran Passione Rosso is a red wine from the Veneto region in Italy. The blend is 60% Merlot with 40% Corvina that has been allowed to dry using the apassimento method to add concentration. The tradition of “Apassimento” (to dry and shrivel). It is the same style as Amarone wines of the region. The result is a rich and full red with ample sweet flavors. Dark fruits dominate while black and red licorice notes intertwine with sweet tobacco and spice.
